De Attain SLX is de lichtgewicht uit de Attain-reeks. We hebben ’m uitgerust met hydraulische schijfremmen en Newmen Performance R.32-wielen met 30 millimeter brede Gran Prix-banden van Continental, voor optimale stopkracht en grip onder alle omstandigheden, van vlakke polderwegen tot bochtige bergpassen. Over de Shimano 105 2x12-aandrijflijn hoeven we niks meer te zeggen en ook de kwaliteit van het semi-aero alu frame en de carbon vork is boven alle twijfel verheven. Kortom, als deze fiets je niet inspireert om plaats te nemen op het zadel, dan weten we het niet meer. Frame omschrijvingHet semi-aeroframe van de Attain, dat is gemaakt van hoogwaardig 6061-aluminium, biedt zowel snelheid als comfort. De druppelvormige onderbuis verlaagt de luchtweerstand. Kabels zitten ook niet in de weg; die lopen mooi door het frame heen. Ook de gladde lasnaden dragen bij aan de premium uitstraling. En wat dacht je van de geïntegreerde zadelpenklem? Natuurlijk is de balhoofdbuis conisch en vind je voor en achter steekassen. Daardoor laten bochten zich met chirurgische precisie aansturen. Ook niet onbelangrijk: de slanke staande achtervork, de hoogwaardige carbon voorvork en banden tot 32 millimeter houden je langer fris.
